SUMMARY OF PROFESSIONAL MOSQUITO CONTROL METHODS

Mosquito is a particularly serious problem in due to the presence of a number of large mosquito breeding grounds in the Dhaka city area. To reduce the mosquito density inside and around the building, a combination of space spraying and residual spraying programme need to be followed every week.



Dengue Prevention

Aedes aegypti and Ae. albopictus are the vectors of dengue fever. Routinely check to wet containers should be done to detect the presence of Aedes larvae inside and around the building areas. If any Aedes mosquito is detected in the building premise, appropriate control measures would be taken immediately.
